I have been busy helping first time home buyers find the best deals in real estate in the past ten years!  Deals are to be had, with prices down 20% or more in some areas of Grand Rapids in just the last year.

What is making first time home buyers go out looking for a new home?

The $8,000 first time home buyer tax credit! Yes, that is right.  The United States of America wants to give you $8,000 just for buying your first home!  I wish that tax credit was available when I was buying my first home, but I’ll be more than happy to settle with helping others take through the process.

Interest rates as low as 5% are definitely helping out also.  With such a low interest rate, a home payment can be as low as a rental!

Celadon is Going Strong

Celadon, located in Northeast Grand Rapids, seems to be hot right now! I have seen many great articles in the Grand Rapids Press and other local publications.

I have toured this project a couple of times and it really seems to be coming along. There is always concern when a new project starts on whether or not the developer is going to live up to their promises. I have to say Celadon New Town is living up to theirs!

Celadon is having quite the growth spurt with building after building sprouting up from the ground. This project is going to be a great community with a trendy new urban style.
