It’s Valentine's Day and I sit in my office trying to make matches. I have clients that want to buy their future home but are stuck with not finding enough homes on the market to buy.

So I sit here, thinking I need to find the match.

On this Valentine’s Day, if you are someone that wants to sell in the next 6 months and needs to sell to be able to buy, I want to know if I can make a match. See, my clients are all willing to wait to move into your home. They would be fine with buying your home and letting you stay there while you go find your match. If you are looking to walk away from your home but still have the freedom to take your time to buy, let's play the game.

Please take a moment to tell me a little about your home using this

So, I have been getting this question a ton over the last 30 days!  Here are the top questions and I hope to provide answers if you wondered.

This is the biggest one that seems to be throwing people off. Yes, and Yes! I am actively selling real estate as a Realtor® as well as being the broker of Steve Volkers Group. So, yes I buy and sell homes like any normal Realtor®... but more fun and in my own style.

What brokerage did you change to?

I started my own independent brokerage utilizing

If they’ve made up their mind, then that is what they are going to do. But be aware of the reasons why this might not be the best idea.

Listing a home is A LOT of work, and like anything where big money, time and risks are involved it is always best to hire a professional, not only for ease and experience, but to maximize profits.

Over the last several years I’ve been asked to interview to be a client’s buying agent. Two of them happened in the last few weeks. So what does that mean, and as a Realtor do I recommend it?

Why Am I Seeing an Uptick in Interviewing Buying Agents?

One- Each year buyers are becoming more and more educated about the process before they dive in. They want to work with a Realtor who will take the time to fill in the blanks and guide them through the unknowns and sometimes grey home buying process.

Two- Due to the diversification and growth of our economy more buyers are moving into our market with larger budgets and looking at higher end homes. These buyers are usually seasoned home owners who know how important a local professional is. They

This week’s update features Steve along with agent Paul Marantette talking about the current inventory in the market (or lack thereof). We’ve got buyers looking for homes and there are not enough on the market. So we need your help…if you’ve been considering selling your home now may be a great time to make that move you’ve been thinking about.
