South Hills

South Hills neighborhood has a population size of just under 1,000, and is the smallest community in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mostly residential, South Hills is nestled between Madison Square and Heritage Hill neighborhoods.

Originally established from Dutch and Italian immigrants, it has transformed many times over the years to what it is today. Shaped by its ethnic history, this community has a strong eclectic historical feel, and is within walking distance to Heritage Hills Wealthy Street area.

South Hill boundaries include Pleasant St. to the north, Lafayette Ave. to the west, Franklin St. to the south, and Union Ave. to the east.
